Welcome to The Mist Method, a mobile spray tanning service. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, professional, and consistent experience for all of our clients.
Services Provided - The Mist Method offers professional, mobile spray tanning services delivered to your home or chosen location. We use high-quality products and aim to provide a natural, even tan. However, individual results may vary based on skin type, preparation, and aftercare.
Common items in a terms and conditions agreement allow you to:
Booking Cancellations - Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 12 hours prior to your appointment time. Cancellations with less than 12 hours' notice may incur a $25 cancellation fee.
No-shows will be charged 50% of the service fee.
Client Responsibilities - Clients must follow all pre-tan and post-tan instructions provided to achieve optimal results. You are responsible for disclosing any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities that may affect your spray tan. We do not spray individuals under the age of 16 without parental consent.
Liability Waiver - The Mist Method is not liable for any adverse reactions caused by failure to follow provided instructions or disclose medical/skin conditions. We use DHA-based tanning solutions. By booking a service, you confirm you are not allergic or sensitive to these ingredients.
Mobile Visit Policy
Please ensure a clean, ventilated, and private area for setup (preferably with access to a power outlet if needed). Pets must be secured during the appointment.
We currently service within 20 miles of Brighton, MI. Travel outside this radius may incur a $10–$25 fee, depending on location.
At The Mist Method, your satisfaction is important to us. While individual tanning results may vary based on skin type and aftercare, we stand behind the quality of our service.

We aim to resolve all concerns fairly and promptly—our goal is for you to love your glow service and individual skin responses, we do not offer refunds once a spray tan has been applied. However, if you are dissatisfied, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will work with you to find a solution.
